Diskoteka Avariya is a Russian pop group formed in Ivanovo in 1990. They play dance-pop with electronic beats and rap verses, and are known for songs including “Novogodnyaya,” “Disco Superstar,” “Nebo” and “Esli khochesh ostatsya,” as well as the albums Maniaki and Chetvero parney.

The group’s performance history began with dance nights hosted by founders Alexey Ryzhov and Nikolay Timofeyev as DJs. During the 2000s, Diskoteka Avariya performed at national pop events including Pesnya goda and the Zolotoy Grammofon concerts.
