Dominic Miller in Manchester

Dominic Miller is an Argentine-born guitarist and composer whose work spans instrumental jazz, classical guitar, pop and rock. He is known particularly as Sting’s longtime guitarist and as the co-writer of “Shape of My Heart”; his solo catalogue includes First Touch, Silent Light, Absinthe and Vagabond. In 1991, Miller joined Sting’s band for The Soul Cages Tour, beginning a concert partnership that later included the Brand New Day Tour and the 57th & 9th Tour. He has also taken his own instrumental music to jazz clubs and theatres, leading ensembles centred on acoustic and electric guitar. For concerts around Vagabond, Dominic Miller performed in a trio with bassist Nicolas Fiszman and drummer Ziv Ravitz.
