About Donnie Baker
Donnie Baker is an American comedy character created and performed by Ron Sexton for the syndicated radio program The Bob & Tom Show. Baker is a perpetually aggrieved storyteller known for calls about his job, his boat and his tangled personal life, punctuated by “I swear to God” and claims that something is “state law.”
The Bob & Tom Comedy All-Stars Tour brought Sexton’s character out of the radio studio for in-person stand-up appearances. He later performed longer Donnie Baker sets at comedy clubs and incorporated live songs backed by Donnie Baker and the Pork Pistols.
