Donovan Woods in Erpe-Mere

Donovan Woods is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Sarnia, Ontario, whose music draws on folk and country songwriting. His best-known work includes “Portland, Maine,” “Next Year” and the albums Both Ways and Without People; Tim McGraw and Charles Kelley are among the artists who have recorded songs he helped write. In 2019, Woods joined Matt Nathanson’s Sings His Sad Heart Tour, bringing his acoustic-led songs to theatres across North America. He also performs with his band, the Opposition, and has presented that fuller concert format at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
