Doogie White in Lublin

Doogie White is a Scottish hard-rock and heavy-metal singer, born in Motherwell in 1960. He is best known as the vocalist on Rainbow’s album Stranger in Us All, which includes “Ariel” and “Hall of the Mountain King.” He later recorded with Yngwie Malmsteen’s Rising Force, Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock, Cornerstone and Tank. Rainbow toured internationally behind Stranger in Us All in 1995 and 1996, including a filmed Rockpalast concert at Philipshalle in Düsseldorf. White subsequently fronted Rising Force on the road, then sang on Temple of Rock tours during the 2010s; that period was documented on On a Mission: Live in Madrid.
