Doug Stone in Hawkins

Doug Stone is an American country singer from Newnan, Georgia, whose self-titled 1990 debut began a run of radio hits. His best-known songs include “I'd Be Better Off (In a Pine Box),” “In a Different Light,” “A Jukebox with a Country Song,” “Too Busy Being in Love” and “Why Didn't I Think of That.” Doug Stone has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and built his concerts around the songs that established him in the 1990s. He continues to present that catalog with a country band at theatres, casinos, fairs and festivals across the United States.
