Tracy Byrd is an American country singer from Vidor, Texas, who began recording in the 1990s. His traditional honky-tonk style is heard on songs including “Holdin’ Heaven,” “Watermelon Crawl,” “The Keeper of the Stars,” “I’m from the Country” and “Ten Rounds with Jose Cuervo.” In 1994, Byrd established the annual Tracy Byrd Homecoming concert in Southeast Texas as a benefit for local charities. He later returned to the road for theatre, casino and fair performances, and co-headlined dates with fellow Southeast Texas singer Mark Chesnutt under The Beaumont Boys billing.
Shenandoah is an American country band formed in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, in 1984. Led during its best-known period by singer Marty Raybon, the group became known for new-traditionalist country songs including “Two Dozen Roses,” “The Church on Cumberland Road,” “Sunday in the South” and “Next to You, Next to Me,” as well as the album The Road Not Taken. Marty Raybon returned as lead singer in 2014, bringing the voice heard on the band’s best-known recordings back to its touring lineup. Shenandoah has since continued to perform at theatres, fairs, casinos and country festivals around the United States, including appearances at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
