About Dreamers' Circus
Dreamers' Circus is a Danish folk trio formed in Copenhagen in 2009 by violinist Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen, cittern player Ale Carr and pianist and accordionist Nikolaj Busk. Their instrumental repertoire draws on Nordic traditional music and chamber music, heard on albums including A Little Symphony, Rooftop Sessions and Blue White Gold.
Dreamers' Circus have performed at Roskilde Festival and the Sydney Opera House. Their concert work has also taken the trio to Japan and North America, extending a touring history rooted in Denmark.
The group performs in its established three-piece format. Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen plays violin, Ale Carr plays cittern, and piano and accordion are handled by Nikolaj Busk.
