Dub Pistols in Hitchin

Dub Pistols are a British electronic band formed in London in 1996 by DJ and frontman Barry Ashworth. Their music draws on dub, breakbeat, hip-hop, jungle and punk, heard across albums including Point Blank, Six Million Ways to Live and Speakers and Tweeters, and tracks such as “Cyclone,” “Mucky Weekend” and their version of “Peaches.” Dub Pistols have performed at Glastonbury Festival and Beautiful Days as part of a long history of club, theatre and festival shows. The touring act is a full band led by Ashworth, and the group also headlines Mucky Weekender, the festival he founded.
