Eater in London

Eater are a British punk band formed in London in 1976 by teenage musicians. They became part of the city’s first punk wave through the singles “Outside View,” “Thinkin’ of the USA” and “Lock It Up,” followed by their debut LP, The Album. Eater’s early performances included shows at the Roxy, where recordings of the band appeared on the 1977 compilation Live at the Roxy London WC2. After their original late-1970s run, they reunited for later performances and returned to punk-festival stages, including Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.
