Artist
Editors are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 2002. Their debut album, The Back Room, includes “Munich” and “Blood”; An End Has a Start produced “Smokers Outside the Hospital Doors,” while In This Light and on This Evening introduced a stronger synthesizer sound and the single “Papillon.” Tom Smith’s baritone vocals remain central to the band’s music. In 2005, Editors opened for Franz Ferdinand on a UK arena tour, then played Coachella the following year. Larger headline dates followed, and in 2008 they headlined Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena. Editors have returned to both Glastonbury and Rock Werchter across multiple album cycles. Their festival history also includes repeated appearances at Pinkpop.
