Efterklang in Castelo Branco

Efterklang is a Danish band formed in Copenhagen in 2000 by Casper Clausen, Mads Brauer and Rasmus Stolberg. Their music combines electronic textures, art rock and chamber-pop arrangements, heard across albums including Tripper, Parades, Magic Chairs and Piramida. The band documented an orchestral performance of Parades with the Danish National Chamber Orchestra on the live album Performing Parades. The later Piramida concerts expanded that approach through collaborations with local ensembles, including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House and Britten Sinfonia at the Barbican in London.
