Eilen Jewell in Woodstock

Eilen Jewell is an American singer-songwriter born in Boise, Idaho, who plays country, folk, blues and Americana. She established her recording career with Boundary County and Letters from Sinners & Strangers, followed by albums including Sea of Tears, Queen of the Minor Key and Gypsy. She also recorded Butcher Holler, a collection of songs associated with Loretta Lynn. The concert album Live at the Narrows documents her band at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, Massachusetts. Eilen Jewell has also performed in clubs, theatres and roots-music festivals across the United States and Europe, usually singing and playing guitar with a backing band. Her longstanding live collaborators have included drummer Jason Beek and guitarist Jerry Miller.
