El Consorcio is a Spanish vocal group formed in 1993 by former Mocedades members Amaya, Estíbaliz and Iñaki Uranga, Carlos Zubiaga and Sergio Blanco. Its harmony-led pop repertoire carries forward songs associated with Mocedades, including “Eres tú,” “Tómame o déjame” and “El vendedor,” alongside albums such as Lo que nunca muere and Programa doble. The Gira de Despedida, announced in 2014, took El Consorcio through theatres in Spain and Latin America. After Sergio Blanco died in 2015, the other members kept performing the group’s repertoire, preserving the vocal arrangements associated with Amaya, Estíbaliz and Iñaki Uranga and Carlos Zubiaga.
