About El Tri
El Tri is a Mexican rock band led by frontman Alex Lora, formed in 1984 after the end of Three Souls in My Mind. Its blues-rooted rock en español is heard in songs including “Triste canción,” “Las piedras rodantes” and “Pobre soñador.”
In 1996, El Tri recorded a performance for MTV Unplugged. In 2018, the band marked 50 years of the musical history that began with Three Souls in My Mind at a concert in Palacio de los Deportes.
