Its best-known songs include “Hypa Hypa,” “We Got the Moves,” “Pump It” and “Spaceman,” three of which appear on the album Tekkno. In 2022, the band presented Escalation Fest at Rudolf Weber-Arena in Oberhausen. Tekkno World Tour dates then took its headline show through Europe and North America. The full-band set uses two vocalists, guitars, drums and programmed electronic parts. Festival appearances in 2023 included Wacken Open Air in Germany and Download Festival in England.
Bloodywood is an Indian metal band formed in New Delhi in 2016. They play rap metal and folk metal, using heavy guitar riffs, rap, harsh vocals and Indian folk instruments. After beginning with metal versions of pop songs, the band released tracks including “Ari Ari,” “Machi Bhasad” and “Jee Veere,” followed by the debut album Rakshak in 2022. The 2019 Raj Against the Machine tour took Bloodywood through Europe, included a performance at Wacken Open Air and became the subject of a documentary bearing the tour’s name. The band played Download Festival in 2022 and later mounted the Rakshak USA Tour. Their concert lineup pairs Jayant Bhadula’s harsh and melodic vocals with Raoul Kerr’s rapping, while guitar and flute are handled by Karan Katiyar.
