About Epic Rap Battles of History
Epic Rap Battles of History is an American comedy-rap project and web series created in 2010 by Peter Shukoff, known as Nice Peter, and Lloyd Ahlquist, known as EpicLLOYD. Its songs stage fictional battles between historical figures and pop-culture characters; widely recognized episodes include “Darth Vader vs Hitler,” “Albert Einstein vs Stephen Hawking” and “Barack Obama vs Mitt Romney.”
Epic Rap Battles of History has adapted its short-form videos into a touring stage show built around the creators performing the battles in character. The live repertoire revisits songs from the series through rapid costume and character changes, placing Nice Peter and EpicLLOYD at the center of the performance.
