Eric Martin in St. Petersburg

Eric Martin is an American rock singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of Mr. Big. His clear, high-register voice is central to the band’s melodic hard-rock sound and to songs including “To Be with You,” “Just Take My Heart” and its cover of Cat Stevens’ “Wild World.” He has also released solo records under his own name. Mr. Big documented its early concert work on Raw Like Sushi, recorded during a 1989 tour of Japan. Martin returned to the road with the group for The BIG Finish farewell tour in 2023, when the set included the album Lean Into It performed in full. That tour brought Mr. Big to Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.
