Éric Serra in Domaine de Grammont

Éric Serra is a French composer, bassist and songwriter born in Saint-Mandé in 1959. He is best known for his long collaboration with director Luc Besson, writing electronic and orchestral scores for films including Subway, The Big Blue, La Femme Nikita, Léon: The Professional and The Fifth Element. He also composed the music for the James Bond film GoldenEye. For the 30th anniversary of The Big Blue, Serra brought its score to the stage in Le Grand Bleu en ciné-concert. The production toured French concert halls, where Serra and his ensemble performed the music in synchronization with Luc Besson’s film.
