About Eric Slick

Eric Slick is an American drummer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist born in Philadelphia in 1987. He is best known as the drummer for Dr. Dog, which he joined in 2010, and previously played in Adrian Belew Power Trio alongside bassist Julie Slick. His solo albums include Palisades, Wiseacre and New Age Rage, drawing on indie rock, pop and jazz.

Eric Slick toured with Dr. Dog for more than a decade before the band ended its farewell run at Union Transfer on New Year’s Eve 2021. He was back behind the kit when the group returned for a 2024 concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.
