Exodus in Coventry

Exodus are an American thrash-metal band formed in Richmond, California, in 1979. Their debut album, Bonded by Blood, became a key release in the Bay Area thrash scene, and their best-known songs include “Bonded by Blood” and “The Toxic Waltz.” Later albums include Pleasures of the Flesh and Tempo of the Damned. The 1985 Combat Tour put Exodus on the road with Venom and Slayer. A 1997 reunion performance at the Trocadero in San Francisco was documented on the live album Another Lesson in Violence. Decades later, The Bay Strikes Back tour brought them together with fellow Bay Area bands Testament and Death Angel. Beyond their California base, they have performed at Wacken Open Air and Hellfest in Clisson.
