Fatoumata Diawara in Décines-Charpieu

Fatoumata Diawara is a Malian singer, songwriter, guitarist and actor whose music draws on Wassoulou traditions, folk, blues and rock. Her recordings include the albums Fatou, Fenfo and London Ko, as well as the songs “Nterini” and “Nsera.” In 2013, she performed at Glastonbury Festival, and five years later she recorded an NPR Tiny Desk Concert. She returned to Glastonbury in 2019 for a full-band set led by her voice and guitar.
