Fisherman's Friends are a British male vocal folk group formed in 1995 in Port Isaac, Cornwall. Drawn largely from the village's fishing community, they sing sea shanties and maritime folk songs including “South Australia” and “Drunken Sailor.” The album Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends introduced their harmonies to a wider audience, and their story inspired the 2019 comedy drama Fisherman’s Friends. Fisherman's Friends sang for years on the Platt beside Port Isaac harbour, establishing a performance tradition rooted in the village. They appeared on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2011 and later carried the same ensemble repertoire into theatres and concert halls around Britain, including the Royal Albert Hall.
