Flatfoot 56 is an American Celtic punk band formed in Chicago in 2000. The group plays punk rock built around bagpipes and mandolin, and is known for songs including “Brotherhood” and “Courage” and albums such as Jungle of the Midwest Sea, Black Thorn and Toil. Flatfoot 56 appeared repeatedly at Cornerstone Festival and played the Vans Warped Tour in 2010. The band’s festival history also includes Summerfest in Milwaukee and the Sonshine Festival in Minnesota.
