Artist
Fleshwater is an American alternative rock band featuring members of Massachusetts hardcore group Vein.fm, including guitarist and vocalist Anthony DiDio and drummer Matt Wood, alongside vocalist Marisa Shriar. Their music draws on shoegaze, alternative metal and post-hardcore, heard on the EP Sounds of Grieving and the album We’re Not Here to Be Loved. “Kiss the Ladder,” “Linda Claire” and “Closet” are among their best-known songs. In 2023, Fleshwater toured North America with No Pressure and Koyo. The band followed with a 2024 headlining run supported on different dates by Modern Color, 9million and Seed of Pain, then appeared at Sick New World in Las Vegas and Outbreak Fest in Manchester.
