Florent Marchet is a French singer-songwriter and composer, born in Bourges in 1975, who writes chanson and melodic pop. His solo catalogue began with Gargilesse and continued through Rio Baril, Courchevel and Bambi Galaxy; “Tous pareils” and “Benjamin” are among his best-known songs. Tours built around Courchevel and Bambi Galaxy took his band-led performances to theatres and festivals across France. He has also performed the musical and literary project Frère animal onstage as a narrated song cycle created with writer Arnaud Cathrine.
