Foy Vance is a Northern Irish singer-songwriter, born in 1974, whose music draws on folk, soul and roots rock. He is known for songs including “Guiding Light” and “She Burns,” and for albums such as Joy of Nothing, The Wild Swan and Signs of Life. In 2014, he recorded the concert later released as Live at Bangor Abbey. He subsequently opened selected dates on Ed Sheeran’s ÷ Tour, then returned to theatres and concert halls for his own Signs of Life Tour. Foy Vance plays recurring headline concerts in London and Belfast.
Bonnie Bishop is an American country-rock singer-songwriter from Texas. Bonnie Raitt recorded “Not Cause I Wanted To,” written by Bishop and Al Anderson, and later recorded Bishop’s “Undone.” Bishop also co-wrote “The Best Songs Come From Broken Hearts,” heard in the television series Nashville and on its soundtrack, while Dave Cobb produced her 2016 album Ain’t Who I Was. Bishop spent a decade touring before studying creative writing at Sewanee. In 2016, she performed at Nashville’s Americana festival.
