About Fucked Up
Fucked Up are a Canadian hardcore punk band formed in Toronto in 2001. They are known for the 2009 Polaris Music Prize-winning album The Chemistry of Common Life and the rock opera David Comes to Life, which includes “Queen of Hearts” and “The Other Shoe.”
In 2008, Fucked Up marked the release of The Chemistry of Common Life by playing for 12 hours at the Rogan store in New York. They returned to the marathon format in 2011 for another 12-hour concert, built around David Comes to Life, at the Great Hall in their hometown.
