Fujiya & Miyagi are an English electronic band formed in Brighton in 2000. Motorik rhythms, understated vocals and analogue synthesizers shape their sound, heard on the album Transparent Things and tracks including “Ankle Injuries,” “Collarbone” and “Knickerbocker.” The band toured beyond the United Kingdom following Transparent Things, then returned to the road behind Lightbulbs and Ventriloquizzing. Those runs brought their live lineup to clubs and festivals in Europe and North America, including South by Southwest in Austin and Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
