Gary Valenciano is a Filipino singer-songwriter and performer, born in 1964, whose music covers pop, soul, ballads and gospel. Billed as “Mr. Pure Energy,” he is known for songs including “Di Bale Na Lang,” “Sana Maulit Muli” and “Take Me Out of the Dark.”

Gary Valenciano mounted his first solo concert at Araneta Coliseum in 1984. Four decades later, he marked his 40th anniversary with Pure Energy: One More Time at SM Mall of Asia Arena in 2024.
