About Regine Velasquez
Regine Velasquez is a Filipino pop singer and actress, born in Manila in 1970. Her catalogue is built around ballads and adult contemporary pop, including “Narito Ako,” “Dadalhin” and her recording of “On the Wings of Love,” while the albums Listen Without Prejudice and R2K are among her best-known releases.
R2K: The Concert brought her to Araneta Coliseum in 2000. Her Silver anniversary concert at Mall of Asia Arena in 2012 was cut short after illness affected her voice, and she returned for Silver Rewind in 2013. She marked three decades in music at the same arena in 2017 with the concert series R3.0.
