GLAY in Fukuoka

GLAY is a Japanese rock band formed in Hakodate, Hokkaido, in 1988. The long-standing lineup of vocalist Teru, guitarists Takuro and Hisashi, and bassist Jiro plays pop-oriented rock and is known for singles including “However,” “Yuuwaku” and “Winter, again,” as well as the albums pure soul and HEAVY GAUGE. GLAY staged GLAY EXPO ’99 SURVIVAL in the Makuhari Messe parking area in 1999, making the large outdoor EXPO concert a recurring part of its live history. The band returned to the format at Universal Studios Japan in 2004 and at Miyagi Stadium in 2014. Most of GLAY’s live work has taken place in Japan, where the band has mounted arena and stadium concerts in both Tokyo and Yokohama.
