GLIM SPANKY is a Japanese rock duo formed in Nagano Prefecture in 2007, comprising vocalist and guitarist Remi Matsuo and guitarist Hiroki Kamemoto. They play blues-rooted garage rock and are known for the albums Sunrise Journey and Next One, as well as songs including “Otona ni Nattara” and “Ikari o Kure yo,” the theme for One Piece Film: Gold. In 2014, GLIM SPANKY opened for the Rolling Stones at Tokyo Dome during the 14 On Fire tour. That appearance was followed in 2018 by the duo’s first headlining concert at Nippon Budokan.
