About Go_A
Go_A is a Ukrainian electro-folk band formed in 2012. Led by vocalist Kateryna Pavlenko, the group sets traditional vocal techniques and folk motifs against electronic dance rhythms; it is best known for “Shum,” which represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest, and the earlier song “Solovey.”
At the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, Go_A performed “Shum” in the grand final. In 2022, the band brought its electronic-folk set to the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury Festival.
