About Gomez
Gomez are an English alternative rock band formed in Southport in 1996. Their debut album, Bring It On, won the Mercury Music Prize and introduced songs including “Whippin’ Piccadilly” and “Get Myself Arrested”; later releases include Liquid Skin and How We Operate.
Gomez marked the 20th anniversary of Bring It On in 2018 by playing the album in full on tour, including a concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. A year later, the band revisited Liquid Skin in the same complete-album format, closing the UK leg at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
