Artist
Gruppo Sportivo is a Dutch new-wave and pop-rock band formed in The Hague in 1976 by singer, songwriter and guitarist Hans Vandenburg. The band became known for witty, tightly arranged songs on the albums 10 Mistakes and Back to 78, including “Beep Beep Love,” “Hey Girl” and “Disco Really Made It.” Gruppo Sportivo performed at Pinkpop in 1978, when material from its first two albums formed the core of the set. Tours supporting those records also included concerts in Britain and the United States.
