Artist
Gryphon are an English progressive folk-rock band formed in London in 1973 by Richard Harvey and Brian Gulland. They use crumhorns, bassoon and recorders alongside guitars, keyboards and drums, a sound established on the albums Gryphon, Midnight Mushrumps and Red Queen to Gryphon Three. In 1974 and 1975, Gryphon toured Britain and North America as support for Yes. After splitting in 1977, the band reunited for a 2009 concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London.
