About Guadalupe Plata
Guadalupe Plata are a Spanish trio formed in 2007 in Úbeda, Jaén. They play raw electric blues shaped by rockabilly, psychedelic rock and Andalusian folk traditions. A run of self-titled albums established their sound, while “Serpientes negras” and “Milana” became recurring points of reference in their catalogue.
Tours beyond Spain took Guadalupe Plata through the United Kingdom, the United States and Latin America, including an appearance at SXSW in Austin. Their festival history also includes Primavera Sound in Barcelona and Azkena Rock Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
