About Guana Batz
Guana Batz are a British psychobilly band formed in Feltham, west London, in 1982. Their fast rockabilly rhythms and punk attack helped establish them in the early UK psychobilly scene, particularly through the albums Held Down... At Last! and Loan Sharks and songs including “King Rat” and “I'm on Fire.”
Guana Batz played the Klub Foot in Hammersmith and appeared on the Stomping at the Klub Foot live compilations associated with the venue. Singer Pip Hancox fronts the band on the 1988 concert album Live Over London.
