Guns N' Roses in Brisbane

Guns N' Roses are an American hard-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. Their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, produced the signature songs “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child o' Mine” and “Paradise City”; the two Use Your Illusion albums later added tracks including “November Rain” and “Don't Cry.” The Appetite for Destruction Tour took the band through clubs, theatres and arenas in 1987 and 1988, including opening shows for The Cult and Aerosmith. The Use Your Illusion Tour followed in 1991 and ran until 1993, incorporating the co-headlining Guns N' Roses/Metallica Stadium Tour in 1992. In 2016, Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan reunited onstage for the multi-year Not in This Lifetime Tour.

Airbourne are an Australian hard rock band formed in Warrnambool, Victoria, in 2003 by brothers Joel and Ryan O’Keeffe. Their debut album, Runnin’ Wild, established the group’s direct rock-and-roll sound through songs including “Too Much, Too Young, Too Fast” and the title track; later releases include Black Dog Barking, Breakin’ Outta Hell and Boneshaker. The band toured internationally behind Runnin’ Wild, then supported Iron Maiden on dates of The Final Frontier World Tour in 2011. Headline tours accompanied subsequent albums, and Airbourne also performed at Wacken Open Air and Download Festival. An Airbourne concert is a full-band electric rock set built around vocals, twin guitars, bass and drums. During shows, Joel O’Keeffe has climbed lighting rigs and venue structures while playing guitar.
