About Hamilton De Holanda
Hamilton De Holanda is a Brazilian bandolim player and composer, born in Rio de Janeiro in 1976 and raised in Brasília. He plays choro, samba and jazz, and is known for his custom ten-string bandolim and the album Brasilianos.
In 2012, he performed with Italian pianist Stefano Bollani at Jazz Middelheim in Antwerp; the concert became the duo album O Que Será. He later established Baile do Almeidinha, a recurring dance concert that has brought guest singers and instrumentalists to Circo Voador.
