Have Mercy is an American emo and indie-rock band formed in Baltimore in 2009. Led by singer and guitarist Brian Swindle, the group became known for emotionally direct songs including “Hell” and “Let’s Talk About Your Hair,” both from the album The Earth Pushed Back, and followed it with records such as A Place of Our Own and Make the Best of It. In 2014, Have Mercy supported Real Friends on a North American tour that also included Neck Deep and Cruel Hand. The band followed that club run by performing on the Vans Warped Tour in 2015.
