Artist
Hermanos Gutiérrez are a Swiss-Ecuadorian instrumental duo formed in Zurich by brothers Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez. Their guitar-led music draws on Latin American styles and western-film scores; the albums El Bueno y El Malo and Sonido Cósmico, and tracks including “Thunderbird,” brought the duo a wider audience. In 2022, Hermanos Gutiérrez opened North American dates for Khruangbin, bringing their two-guitar instrumental set to amphitheatres. The duo performed at Coachella in 2023, and NPR documented the same live format that year in a Tiny Desk Concert.
