Artist
Holding Absence are a Welsh post-hardcore band formed in Cardiff in 2015. Led by vocalist Lucas Woodland, they are known for emotionally direct, melodic rock heard across the albums Holding Absence, The Greatest Mistake of My Life and The Noble Art of Self Destruction, as well as songs including “Afterlife” and “Like a Shadow.” In 2022, Holding Absence toured Britain and Europe with Alpha Wolf after the two bands released the split EP The Lost & The Longing. Headline shows for The Noble Art of Self Destruction followed, and the band later joined Pierce the Veil on The Jaws of Life tour.
