Militarie Gun is an American hardcore band formed in Los Angeles in 2020 by vocalist Ian Shelton. Their melodic punk, post-hardcore and alternative-rock sound is captured on the early All Roads Lead to the Gun releases and the debut album Life Under the Gun, which includes “Do It Faster” and “Very High.” In 2023, Militarie Gun co-headlined a North American tour with Scowl, supported by MSPAINT and Big Laugh. They followed those club dates with a 2024 appearance at Coachella, then opened amphitheatre shows on A Day to Remember’s The Least Anticipated Album Tour.
Softcult is a Canadian alternative-rock duo formed in 2020 by twin sisters Mercedes and Phoenix Arn-Horn. Their music draws on shoegaze, grunge and dream pop, while songs including “Bruise,” “Drain” and “Perfect Blue” established the sound developed across the EPs Year of the Rat, Year of the Snake, See You in the Dark and Heaven. Softcult toured UK clubs in 2022 behind Year of the Snake. They returned in 2023 for shows supporting Incubus and performances at Reading and Leeds.
