Honeymoon Suite & Lee Aaron in Alberta

Honeymoon Suite is a Canadian hard-rock band formed in Niagara Falls, Ontario, in 1981 by singer Johnnie Dee and guitarist Derry Grehan. Their melodic 1980s sound is represented by the albums Honeymoon Suite and The Big Prize, and by songs including “New Girl Now,” “Feel It Again” and “What Does It Take.” During the 1980s, Honeymoon Suite toured North America and opened concerts for Billy Idol, Heart and Jethro Tull. The band later documented its 2002 performance in Bradford on the album Live at the Gods.

Lee Aaron is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician born Karen Lynn Greening in Belleville, Ontario, in 1962. She adopted her stage name from an early band and released The Lee Aaron Project in 1982. Metal Queen followed in 1984, while later releases included Bodyrock, Some Girls Do and the jazz-oriented Slick Chick. Her best-known songs include “Metal Queen,” “Whatcha Do to My Body” and “Sex with Love,” and she has received multiple Juno Award nominations. Reading Festival was among Lee Aaron’s festival appearances, and in 1985 she supported Bon Jovi at a London show. She has performed in casinos, small arenas and at summer festivals, including Sweden Rock Festival in 2011.
