About Lee Aaron
Lee Aaron is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician born Karen Lynn Greening in Belleville, Ontario, in 1962. She adopted her stage name from an early band and released The Lee Aaron Project in 1982. Metal Queen followed in 1984, while later releases included Bodyrock, Some Girls Do and the jazz-oriented Slick Chick. Her best-known songs include “Metal Queen,” “Whatcha Do to My Body” and “Sex with Love,” and she has received multiple Juno Award nominations.
Reading Festival was among Lee Aaron’s festival appearances, and in 1985 she supported Bon Jovi at a London show. She has performed in casinos, small arenas and at summer festivals, including Sweden Rock Festival in 2011.
