Horse The Band in Pioneertown

Horse The Band is an American band formed in Lake Forest, California, in 1998. The group plays hardcore and metalcore driven by 8-bit keyboard sounds, an approach closely associated with nintendocore. Songs including “Cutsman” and “Birdo,” both from the album R. Borlax, and the later record The Mechanical Hand are central to its catalogue. A 2006 North American tour put Horse The Band on the road with DragonForce. Two years later, the group organized and financed its own international Earth Tour, filming the performances and difficult travel along the way. That footage was subsequently released as the Earth Tour documentary.
