Downward Is Heavenward followed in 1998, and Hum returned with Inlet in 2020. In 2011, Hum performed at Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin during a period of reunion shows. The band joined Failure for a North American tour in 2015 and later performed at Dia de los Deftones in San Diego in 2019.
