HunterGirl is an American country singer-songwriter from Winchester, Tennessee. She became known as the runner-up on the 2022 season of American Idol, where she introduced a national audience to her original song “Red Bird”; her other releases include “Ain’t About You.”

HunterGirl performed “Red Bird” during the 2022 American Idol finale, completing a season of televised solo performances. She later made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
